Roast beef with onions and beer, in the oven

Ingredients:
- a piece of quality veal meat (back, sparrow) of 700-800 g
- 3-4 large onions
- a little butter and oil for browning
- thyme
- 330 ml Beer
- salt and pepper

Method of preparation:
Heat the oven to 200⁰ C.
The piece of meat (taken out of the refrigerator in time to reach room temperature) is dried well with paper towels, salted and peppered. Heat the Oti Home lightweight cast iron honeycomb pan and add a little butter and a tablespoon of oil, so that the butter does not burn. Brown the piece of meat on all sides for a few minutes. It is removed on a plate and left to wait. Meanwhile, in the same pan, saute the chopped julienne onion until it turns golden yellow. Add thyme, salt and pepper. Place the piece of browned meat on top of the onion and pour the beer. Put the lid on and put it in the hot oven for 45 minutes.
